HardOCP Question on SSD

OCZ, Intel, Corsair
No particular order. To me they all have there strengths and weaknesses.

Intel, Corsair, Samsung.

I would buy a Kingston but that is an Intel..So..

Samsung's SLC drives are quite spiffy.

I'm hoping this thread is an indicator that Hard OCP is going to start doing SSD testing...

in the mean time, the best place to go is Allyn Malventano of PCPerspective.com. That man knows his SSDs; pcper.com/ssd
--surprisingly he hasn't looked at the Micron C300 controller yet. though apparently he has worked with it.

And from what I've learned there, I wouldn't buy any one brand because most are just following someones reference sheet. If I were buying today, it would be SanForce, with the Intel not making the shortlist for the simple (and correctable in next-rev) issue of SATA III support.

OCZ. I don't mess with the others. I've bought 5 so far and I'm loving them.

intel (didn't buy this one, but i trust intel) 1st
crucial realssd c300 (everywhere people say it's the best) 2nd
ocz revodrive x2, didn't buy this one, because it does not have trim! 3rd
