I have my Opteron 144 at 2.48ghz with 1.52v which was prime stable for 12.5 hours and also without memory error in memtest86 for three passes, but now I can't launch any game based on the source engine (i.e. CS:S, HL2, HL2 Deathmatch, Goldeneye Source). It was giving me a error with something about an error in a certain memory location, but now it doesn't say anything.

I'm running my Corsair Twinx1024-3200llpro at 225mhz at 2-3-2-5 which created no errors in memtest. I am then running a divider of "I think" 8/9 to get me the 2.48ghz.

Halflife 2 has been reinstalled and reupdated.

Battlefield 2 runs great, as does Quake 4.

I can run a benchmark demo of Halflife 2 using HardwareOC Half-Life 2 Benchmark without a hitch...

Someone please help me I can see no reason why this is the only game that refuses to run.

Edit: I'm sorry I was in the wrong forum. Please if some could move this to overclocking I would be very grateful.
