Half-Life 3 Will Probably Never Happen, Says Valve Insider

Couldn't care less about HL3, but I admit Valve made good games, wish they would still develop games but since their Steam platform is so successful that's their excuse to stop developing games which is rather disappointing, I'm sure Valve would make more money if they actually started to develop more games, I couldn't care less about their Steam console OS or VR whatever, nobody cared for that. I don't understand Valve's decision to stop developing games and focus on other projects nobody gives a shit about.

Obviously steam is their cash cow and easy do-little-almost-free money for valve. But as long as its ported well to consoles (which I and many [H] members would never play), I dont see how they could not make a shiznit ton of money on a well made HL3. The HL2 / Portal series undoubtedly still make a bunch of sales daily, with HL2 being over 11 years old. Very disappointing :(
