Looks like Steam just lowered their prices on the HL2 series; I almost bought HL2: EP2 yesterday for $15. It's now $7.99 regular, and on sale for $5.59!! They also lowered / have a sale on the rest of the HL2 series:

HL2 - $6.99 (on sale)
Episode 1 - $5.59 (on sale)
Episode 2 - $5.59 (on sale)
The Orange Box - $20.99 (on sale)

I already own EP1, but I'm buying The Orange Box just cause it's such a good deal.
 
Haha, I guess I should've gifted a few copies of Orange Box when it was $10 last year to my e-mail.
 
Hopefully this means EP3 or HL3 is coming out in some reasonable time frame? Or is that wishful thinking?
 
they also released a graphical update for HL2 and EP1 so that they now use the updated EP2 source engine. makes me want to reinstall HL2 and play through just for nostalgia.
 
The reason they are on sale is because they just released the mac version

On a similar note, the Orange Box price is now $21.
 
Valve's biggest reason to hate them right now is not working on HL3 or EP3...damn them. Quit working on TF2 and bring that awesome story line back, finish the damn story!
 
I think I'll save my money for HL3. Already have at least one copy of all of these :D
