h80i 3570k max stable overclock?

just curious about wats the max stable i can be looking for, or should i go for a 2500k?

If you havnt got the cpu already, I would go for the 3570K, unless you get the 2500K for super cheap.
The 3570K is about 300mhz faster clock for clock then the 2500K(not much), so up to about 4.2-4.5 on a 3570K is good.

k i was thinking about 4.3ghz to keep temps nice aswell as speeds nice, i have a 3770 not the k version, and that runs hot sometimes, 2500k i know runs alot cooler but as you said i cant find them cheap anywhere, well cheaper than the 3570k

Just find the highest multiplier that it is stable at with stock voltages. That would ensure that temps remain well within safe zones.

For IB, this should occur somewhere around 4.2-4.5 ghz.

I have my 3570k at 4.3g and all I did was change the multi to 43 no voltage tweak. I didn't try going any higher, 4.3g is plenty for me. with all core's maxed the highest temp I have seen is 54c.
