I’m having a hard time finding an HTPC case I really like.

If I can’t find one with good cooling and full ATX board & PSU support, I’ll just stick with my Antec Sonata.

I’ve looked over the offerings of: SilverStone, Ahanix & Cooler Master

It seems that the full ATX cases lack proper cooling. Any suggestions for someone who doesn’t want to use 6cm fans?

I’m using a stock Prescott HSK on a P4 2.8C chip, and Arctic-Cooling NV6 on a 6600GT. So I require pretty decent airflow.

minimum of 2 internal 3.5” bays, and 1 external 5.25” bay. An external 3.5” is a nice to have (Fan controller).

Oh I will be using up 3 PCI slots as well. <-- getting hot.

Thanks!

I've been checking out various Rackmount solutions.

like this 4U Rackmount Skyhawk Case. Only, my experience with rack mounts, has been that they are noisy.

Here's a view of the Ahanix D4. I'm just not sure of the cooling capacity of the thing. I'll be using a PSU with 2x8cm fans to help.. maybe a port hole in the top?

:::jaw hits floor::: it's the motherload!

That IR Remote may even have linux support!
I never heard of Arisetec (Formerly Kanam) before... but that case looks great! This definately moved into my #1 choice category.

**still looking around**

Hey btw, I got the case in silver. mo sweet.
lemme know if anyone's interested in pics.
This thing can hold 3 HDDs including the DVD ROM.

My Silverstone LC-10 supports what you want, and the cooling has been fine.

I've got a P4 3 GHz, 2 hard drives, and two PVR-150's in it with an Antec 400 watt PSU and it's running fairly cool.

beautiful case.. but it's got 2 x 60mm rear fans. Call it a pet peave.

It's a peave of mine as well :D

But they really aren't so bad in the LC-10
