I've given up on this generation I think. The very principle of outrageous pricing being combined with a raffle is insulting. I'm also realizing how completely satisfactory my 5700 XT is.

I’m done too for now. Got some Turing cards for myself and older kids PCs and a used rx570 from FS/FT here for my youngest. I’ll keep reading/ watching this horror show but I’m not buying shit till things settle. Buy some crypto or stocks or something with that GPU money. 😜

EDIT: Got selected for a 5600X, nice. I grabbed, not sure what I'll do with it, but I can at least offer someone on the forum a shot at an msrp chip.

So I got this email and went to my shopping cart, but I got a message that the card is no longer available. Only the PSU remains. I thought when I win the raffle, the item or combo is there for me to purchase? It is not even 6pm PST yet. Frustrated. The search continues...

Crazy, same thing happened to me. I posted in the other thread about it. I contacted support but they just told me to check a few times before 7pm pacific. They are taking note of these technical issues but it looks like we might be SOL this time.

Reference was $999 so this one was most likely around $1150-1200 range when they first came out.

DLSS and RT, true game changers. Just try it in Control if you don't believe...this has the RT perf of a 3070 at best.

DLSS sure. But if you bet me 5 dollars to tell if RT was on in game i would lose a whole lot. Sure in some games its easier but seriously blind to it a lot of the times lol. May be it will be a game changer in few more gens when they can enable all bells an whistles to it. But don't wanna make this about RT or DLSS though.
Normally 6900xt's go pretty fast too. One of the first times I have seen this thing sit there for a while lol. May be people like Sapphire more then power color. Or newegg for once got a shit load? who knows but I am sure they will sell out. Nvidia in general has more brand loyalty in general.

6900 XT is a great card, but unlike the high end 3090’s, I’m not sure what you get with one of the spendy aftermarket boards. My reference card under water breaks 21k in Timespy and tons of people break 20k on air.
I don’t really think RT/DLSS are the killer features Nvidia marketing makes them out to be. Cyberpunk at 4K high was a joy on the 6900xt and the current drivers are excellent. If you find a good deal on one I highly recommend.

People like Sapphire more than Powercolor.... a buddy of mine didn't know the red devil cards are probably the best 6900/6800s cards out there and said "Oh didn't know Powercolor were good, thought friends don't let friends buy Powercolor". Powercolor is grouped in with the likes of Zotac etc for whatever reason, maybe someone can explain that to me? haha
