[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears for Nvidia, AMD, Intel, PS5, XBOX

Glad I passed on the $900 one a few weeks ago. Of course I missed this one, but now trying to decide where I want to be card wise in case this continues to be the norm.

It's one thing to not know about it but when you have the fucking thing right in front of you and it changes price it is infuriating. My coworkers want to know why my bald head turned red LOL.

I see $699 OOS.
Maybe it switched over to a marketplace vendor?

Some people still haven't caught on...

Still a pain, but much easier than the last times I've done this. The captcha reset my entire order and it looks like the $900 3080 is gone, but got a $650 3070 so that's not bad I guess. Hopefully they send me a non-LHR version again.
For the 3060 Ti, 3070, and 3080 10:

RX = FHR
RL = LHR

Yeah, that 3080 was FHR. I should've tried adding it to my cart again but didn't want to miss out on other opportunities. The $1600 3090 was gone right away as well.

I'm just waiting to see if the rtx 3080 12gb cards will drop in price below where they came to market.

They feel like an $1000 card at most considering original MSRP of 3080.

Was thinking of doing a step up but my only options they give me are their WAY marked up 3080 12gb, 3080ti, and 3090

If people would wait a little longer they'd be forcing prices down to MSRP with more and more availability. I'm holding out for an MSRP 6800 or 3070... And looks like that'll be soon enough.
I hope you're right. Looking to build my first PC in the coming months and want to get a 3070 at MSRP.

Good deal for current market, but that Asus Tuff 3070ti for $699 was great. Hesitated too long T_T

There's literally 8 different 3070 Ti's in stock at Newegg right now - cheapest is $850, but with so much stock, prices will drop soon.

Lots of moves at Microcenter here today. They also have the 'reserve' option active for holding one for store pickup later. Even some $199 6500xt cards if anyone really cares about that one.
I know we all don't have one but everyone has to compete so maybe online deals close to these coming as well.

The last one, MSI 6900 XT Gaming X Trio, are we seeing MSRP pricing now, finally?

That 6900xt is a deal there.

With all the promos this week----I could have saved like $70 on the mobo, ram, and SSDs I bought last week : \

I noticed that too. I have a 2080 super. I don't need a 6900 XT, but I certainly wouldn't mind an upgrade. It's a little difficult to justify spending the $1k+ with RDNA 3 practically around the corner.

Edit: I was origionally hoping for a 6800 XT, that would be a worthy upgrade @ $650. But the 6800 XTs almost as expensive as the 6900, and the same price with this current discount.

Looks like Best Buy had a drop also.
The Best Buy thing never works out for me online. It will show they have the cards in my city and then I'll be able to add it to the cart and then I'll verify my account and then it will tell me there are no cards within 250 miles of me. It does that every single time I've ever tried it.

Don't give up. I failed every single bb drop in 2021, even early on when you could try 4+ cards to get the 250 mile issue. I finally scored one in January this year.

Patience seems like an ironic thing to advocate for right now, and if you can find a card that works for you with a good price, by all means snag it and don't look back. That newegg Tuf 3070Ti would have worked nicely.

But on the other hand, it might be worth thinking about what the price of the card might be next week or next month- consider the oopsie that buying a 3070Ti for $950 a few weeks ago would have been. There's a reason even the miners aren't touching $1200 3080s and $1800 3090s right now.

And then there's asking yourself what that same money might get you this fall if the next gen stuff is released. Yeah, that line of thinking burned a lot of people not too long ago, but things really do seem like they are beginning to change for the better.

All this could change if ETH announced POS is pushed back again. lol

I'm just looking to build my first gaming pc and be able to get 60+ frames on games. With the way things are right now, what models would help me get there without breaking that bank due to all this price gouging?
I think it's best to start your own thread about that instead of going down the rabbit hole here.

Surprised it still available and no it still does not have any games.
All my local Targets had plenty of these things at Christmas. I was shocked cuz that's the first time I've ever walked in and seen them in a retail store but they had plenty of them out front and even some in the back at every location. I didn't really need one but I picked up three for coworkers. And most other people I talked to said they had no trouble getting one online during the holidays.
