Just bought one locally. It's 3.0. Some of them, anyway.

If its the same one as above, then I think you should take a closer look at the packing, SanDisk does some deceptive stuff to make you think its a 3.0 drive. They started putting in big print on the package 3.0 compatible and then in small fine print that its really a 2.0 drive. Of course a 2.0 drive is 3.0 compatible, this is just to confuse people into think its a 3.0 drive.

Yes I've seen them do that. Such as "2.0/3.0 Compatible" nonsense.

The $15 32gb Ultra is 3.0. Great price.

Looks like its all the Sandisk drives, and Amazon is price matching. I ordered two of the 32 GB USB 3.0 cruiser fits for 15 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LLER2CS/

Is this one not a better buy, based on the retail price? Not sure:

What is the write speed on these? They only mention the read speed which makes me think they have crap for write speed.

Seems like the same or similar performance and the same price. For my application, the low profile will be appreciated.

CrystalDiskMark results from an Amazon review of the 32gb ultra fit drive:

- When connected to a computer with USB 3.0 port:
Sequential Read = 148.4MB/s, Sequential Write = 39.4MB/s
