I tried other magazines and it complained about being a $1 short even though it's was over $20, so I guess not.

Yeah but they are probably charging your CC. They won't stop sending them after the 1st year. They will keep sending, but also charge you for it.

Make sure you read the details. You won't start getting your mags for 5 to 10 weeks.

Back before the holidays they had a 20% off coupon, I ended up getting three-year subs to Wired, PC Gamer, Popular Mechanics, Maximum PC, Forbes, Sound & Vision, and a four-year sub to Computer Shopper, all for a hair under $78. The 20% off coupon expired yesterday though. :(

I'm still getting Maxim and FHM, but I think Stuff stopped.

They aren't charging my CC though, because those 'free' subs only asked for your name, address, and a (junk) e-mail addy. :)
 
This is a good deal if it still works. I might consider doing it if I didn't have a subscription to maxim till october of 2012 already for free ;)
 
I've been getting my subscription forever too. Signed up for one of those free deals a few years back. I've probably been getting both Maxim and Stuff for 3+ years.

Anyway I tried signing up, but I got this message:

man they should have a magazine subscription service which has packaging that censors what kinds of magazines you're getting. i'd hop onto it but i wouldn't want my parents or siblings to peer at what i'm getting in the mail ;)

i got maxim yesterday, just tried FHM didn't work b/c i can't select more then 12 issues :(

import tuner didn't work either :(
 
i dont think its the 1$ thing, i think they maked certain mags as restricted, and do not apply to the code.
 
cant get the deal to work. I am not using a diff mag! using the one referred to in title.. wtf.

I used the other hot deal code a month or two ago for rolling stone for mad cheap, still waiting on my first issue. Hate that it takes up to 12 weeks. bleh, trying to jump all over this but wont work.
