Just keep in mind it only has a CPU FAN and one additional 4-pin PWM fan header. Seems to be something that people knock on the board over. Board goes for ~$106 on the Egg right now. The M.2 is on the backside of the board and might limit a SSD with a big heatsink on it. It does have on the back USB 3.1 Gen 2 + a Gen 2 Type C ports. The UEFI/BIOS is a little different, some complain about it, I have one of these, it's OK, not great. Typical mini-ITX, a bit cramped getting some stuff connected. I dropped a A6 Bristol Ridge APU on it to flash it then dropped a 2200G on it. Not sure if it would handle the 2200G right out of the box though. Others have said that tall RAM might bump into the out of the box Ryzen heatsink fans, I was using typical height DDR4.

I'd say 62 is a great deal for any current gen motherboard, let alone a Ryzen board. ITX at that? This is a good deal.

Thank you for this post. Looking to upgrade my current Surveillance rig. Maybe I can pick up a 8700 or 8700k in the near future. I have been picking up on sale components for my next build.

how do you find out about these? It said I can get it but I don't get any notification that an offer is available.

Same. I purchase a decent amount of items and based on the amount, these promotions seem to skip my account. It'd be nice to be able to activate them through a link like that.

Hmm... still alive. The only thing missing on that board is wifi or a mini-pcie slot. Neither are real dealbreakers especially for that price though. Unfortunately DDR4 prices ARE a dealbreaker. :|

If anyone has received this board already, did you have to use a gen 1 chip to update bios before using a gen 2 chip such as the 2600x?

Hmmm...got the board running today and installed Windows 10 and it was activated right off the bat. I wonder if I received a used board that had a previous windows install. Either way, it's working great with a Ryzen 5 1600 so no complaints!

Did you sign in with your Microsoft account.? I've been noticing that if I sign in during installation and the hardware is at all similar it's been auto activating for me. Kind of weird.

I specifically didn't because this computer is for my sister in law. Haven't signed into anything and this is my first AMD build in over 10 years. I preemptively bought a Windows 10 license which is looking to be a spare. /shrug :)
