Only $699 (refurbished), these go for a standard 999 at costco and sams club. My best friend has one and its a NICE NICE NICE TV! It was so much more then I was expecting.

So does this mean it has all of these?
 
I used to own one of these and even in perfect condition it was a pain in the but.

To operate the remote you need to be straight one and 5-6 feet away from the tv. Imagine how f-ing frustration it could be and multiply it by a million.

If you plan to leave it on forever on the same channel this is the tv for you!

My Sceptre is the same way, I swear the remote needs a laser site on it so u can aim EXACTLY at the sensor. POS is super annoying when u need to lower/raise the volume fast.
 
1000:1 contrast ratio is my limit. Anything less is too washed out and bright in my opinion.
 
Well I have seen HD-DVD movies and xbox 360 on this TV and its brilliant, thats all I can say, specs aside. And the remote issues? Come on.
