Gold spam hasnt been a problem in lotro for about 2 years. Turbine quelled those riots pretty thoroughly.

I have characters all over a few servers, but I primarily play on just one.

Don't feel offended if you IM me or say something to me in the game and I'm not talkative. I rarely am around people I don't know. So most of my responses will be short and simple at first.
 
Make sure you uninstall the Pando Media Booster. When I DLed the lotro client, my internet was slow for a couple days and couldn't figure out why.

Apparently the Pando Media Booster that it installs uses your computer as a permanent background seed for other downloads until you uninstall it from your computer. It doesn't ask to run, or show anything in the system tray etc. I was so horrified by the practice I uninstalled the game and don't want to play it, even for free.

Same thing happened a couple months back for WoW, and the thread was closed. Can't imagine where I'd get the idea that it might happen again...

Sorry, some of us don't hawk over ever WoW thread. If it comes to that, which is unlikely, a mod can close this at their will.
