Would the heatpipes benefit the 1060s heat output in the case or just keep the GPU cooler but still put out same amount of heat into case, compared to the 1050ti fans just blowing over the fins? Not peak usage, just moderate, using GTA5 1080p Ultra settings for an example. Case has a 92mm intake can front grill and chassis fan in rear; no other venting. Which would be cooler, would the 1060's 120w put out more heat under same usage as the 1050ti's 75w?

The same card but with different coolers should release the same amount of heat in the case. What the bigger cooler will do is keep the GPU (specifically) cooler.

Wife's been using a Gigabyte 1060 Ti ITX for years and temps have been perfectly fine. It's just louder than a double/triple fan model would be.

That seems like a good design--and it is a dell pc--are there any drawbacks to using a blower type as they don't seem to be as common?

Noise is the known downside, they are louder due to the design. They are mostly oem designed cards like Dell and hp, but usually a few brands will make 1 sku that is blower style. Asus and gigabyte turbo lines.
