GTX 570 SLI

Hey guys, I just got two open box EVGA GTX 570's from newegg for $500 (pretty good IMO). I've heard that in SLI this compares closely to a GTX 590 (for $250 less haha), just wondering how true this is. From what I've read it seems on par with it most of the time.

Also, this is the first time I'll be putting cards in SLI (never done cfx either), and these two cards didn't ship with an SLI bridge, being open-box. I really don't want the flex bridges, I like the solid ones, but I can only find 3-way and 4-way, or extended 2-way solid bridges, what size should I get for this SLI? I only have 2 PCI-E slots in my mobo, but they seem rather far apart? Here's a link to the picture;

So what SLI bridge would you recommend for that spacing for 2x GTX 570's in SLI? The long or short one? I'll be buying it from EVGA most likely, I already ordered two backplates for them ($40, ridiculous, they should come with them), and I like the way the EVGA ones look.
 
The SLI bridge should have come with your mother board. Crossfire bridge comes with the card.

You will need the longer flexible one not sure if the extended 2-way sold would work. You could check the spacing and see.
 
SLI bridge with my motherboard? This is the first time I've ever owned an Nvidia card, so I'm used to the bridges coming with the cards.

I've never gotten an SLI bridge with my mobo though...

I don't want the flexible one, so I think I'll just order the extended solid one from EVGA, if you're sure that's what I need. There's a 2.5" and a 3.5" I think...
 
Measure the distance between slots on your motherboard, and then order the solid SLI bridge in that length. It's really that simple.

570's in SLI perform around the same as a 590, but have much more potential considering OC-ability. 570's are generally excellent OCers. 590's are not.

Btw, every "SLI" capable motherboard I've ordered in the past few years has come with an SLI bridge... all the way back to my Asus K8N-SLI.
 
If you ordered the same as the link you can see it shows it included in the specs and pictures.

It will be around 2 1/2 inches from the center of the 1st pci-e slot to center of the other pci-e slot. Your bridge will need to be between 2 1/2 to 3inchs. I think it comes out to 2 3/4.
 
Alright, thanks. I won't be getting the motherboard until Wednesday or so, but I wanted to get the info now to prepare beforehand.
