Rig in Sig.

I'm in South Korea which means I can get a 27" 1440p IPS monitor for around $180 shipped. I can also get a 30" 1600p open frame IPS monitor for around $230 shipped.

At these prices an upgrade is warranted over my 1080p 24" viewsonic. Will my graphics card memory be enough to drive the 1600p with no bottleneck? if not will it drive the 1440p?

I mainly play 2 games right now. SC2 and Batman:AC.

It'll be fine for either resolution. It would be fine even if you decided to go SLI with those cards.

It should be enough memory, but I still expect it to lag in big fights in SC2.

I play on 2 480's in SLI which share the 1.5 gigs of ram. I play at a resolution of 3240 x 1920 and have not found a game that maxes out my memory BEFORE the 480 GPU's cant keep up the FPS. At that resolution with 2x Anti, Im ranging from 1 gig to 1.2 gig of ram usage on the GPU. Tera (a new mmorpg) been playing the crap out of it lately. The memory usage is running at 998 megs or so and when I go into the main capital city with toons running everywhere, I see it spike up to 1.1 to 1.2 gig of ram. Now this is with everything just about max out in game accept for shadows, 1 notch down. My FPS is @ 55 to 60 but in the main city it will drop down to 30's. So like I have said before memory has NOT been an issue for me before the GPU's start having a hard time keeping up. How do I keep track of things, I have a G19 and see my systems specs as I am playing.
