GTX 1070 can yield 32MH @ -400 core, +500 memory, 78% power core stays at 1350ish. - Gigabyte G1 gaming

GTX 1080 yields 26.5MH @ -400 core, +144 Memory, and 50% power core stays at 1544. - Zotac Amp Exteme

The GTX 1070 runs at 57-59degrees with fan anywhere between 50-60% fan - Antec 1200 with all fans on full
The GTX 1070 runs at 64-65 degrees at 40-50% fan. - Bitfenix case, much quieter.

What do your numbers look like :)?

GTX 1070, getting 35mhs @ 150 core, +650-750 mem (depends on the rig, some cards can go higher than others), 60-80% power depending on rig core is at 1900-2100 Zotac Amp! Temps run at around 70ish 100% fan

GTX 1070 evga, have two types both go at the same rates so doesn't matter which evga's ya get

getting 31mhs @ +500 on the core, +500 on the mem, 60% power, core is around 1200 Temps are a cool 40c 100% fan speeds

rx 580, getting 30mhs, -12 mV, -20 on the power limit, 1340 on the cores, 2150 on mem. MSI reference temps are 60 c 70% fan speeds.

I will be getting rid of my AMD cards soon, they burn too much power comparative to the nV cards, I'm spending 75 bucks on month on the AMD rigs per rig for power vs 50 bucks on the nV rings so that adds up quickly!

PNY GTX1070FE 31mhs stock core, 9 ghz memory. It could do a little over 34 mhs @ 9.5 ghz but it wasn't stable.

Thats nice to know...ill keep my 1070s then and sell my AMDs if I have to.

What software are you guys using to underclock/overclock? I have used Precision-X and Afterburner and I dont have the range of MHZ on core you guys are stating.

I'm using Afterburner, it has the option for -400 on the core.

rx 480, getting 29.6mhs ETH and 945 Mh/s Decred, -96 mV, -18 power limit, 1191 on the core, 2100 memory. 62 C 33% fan speed. uses 100w in AB dual mining, solo mine ETH uses 75w.

I suggest lowering your core clock speed, which should allow you to undervolt even more and this shouldn't change hash rate much at all. Your AMD rigs should be consuming 25% less power than your NV rigs.

35 MH/s on your 1070 is impressive. I have 6 1070 running at 32mh/s. 70% power, 725 mem. -50 core. Temps from 45-54C. 60% fan.

How are you guys running ethminer ? When I tried it, the hashrate was unstable, it would report 2 back to back, EG, my 1070 would report 40MH/28MH back to back.

I would use claymore personally, I dont think ethminer has any devfee, though.

very similar for my 1070s as well. with little or no tweaking total system draw @ load = 510 watts @ wall

3 x SC BLACK 1070 + 360 mem - 60 core 50% fan 54C 25 ambient
1 x FTW 1070 same as above

29-30.5 MH/s ETH per card.

anyone bailing on ETH mining?

I'm about to... the difficulty is ridiculous now. looking for something else to mine, maybe zcash?

I bailed. I was running primarily R9 290X cards. Cost of electricity was pretty much negating what I was making. Sure they coin value can go up, but I don't enjoy $200-300 electricity bills.

I have 2 small rigs composed of 1070 and 1060 hashing ETH at about 450MH/s. I was getting close to 4 ETH/month, now it's about 2.6 ETH/month. really not worth it, but looking for a better alternative

^ exactly 15 cards. 10x 1070 and 5x 1060

just d/l nicehash to run on one of the rigs as an experiment. we'll see what that amounts to. I tried to d/l EWBF's zcash miner, but windows 10 stopped me from d/l'ing it. said it was a virus. I know other people say it's ok, but it doesn't sit well with me.

genoil's ethminer doesn't have any virus issues, nor does the nicehash miner. have to be careful.

^ lol. Windows 10 *is* a virus.

Run the executable through virustotal.com and stop sweating false positives from useless windows defender.

So, guys keep in mind that the miners may still have viruses...

For example, downloading the EWBF miner from the megaupload or google drive files sets off windows defender. I was very wary about it using those miners. Instead I downloaded the EWBF file from github via the nanopool repository. Guess what? No virus detected. I still think we can't be too cavalier about viruses embedded in these miners.

Pair of 1050ti's were 15.5MH each in Ryzen7 B350 desktop system, 4x or 16x slot. But drop to 14.5MH on i3 H110 mining rig 1x slot...
Titan X Pascal gives same rate in either system (16x slot vs 16x slot) : 38.5MH. Claymore 9.7

I just started mining 1 week ago just to see how my gaming rig would do. Previously I have been mining CureCoin which does both CPU/GPU with the Folding@Home client and very simple for beginners. I tried to get into Bitcoin years ago but couldn't figure it out. Anyways...
i7-5960x and a Titan Xp 43.5MH/s using Claymore 9.8 Afterburner memory +870, core StOCK, Power 80%
Just learned last night about the memory tweak. Made a new profile in Afterburner and lowered my temps quite a bit.

Well it goes without saying to download the miner from the source/developer.

^ the other infected links were from the developers thread on bitcointalk. the uninfected ones were from a third party mining pool operator

I wantes to just got big and make my self bankrupt by buying a 1070 or 1080 but i dont understand the point if i am getting only 10 MH/s higher than i would with an RX470.
Im so not sure now what the hell card to buy.
Not sure if 1060 is decent or am i also wasting my time, RX... or GTX i dont know

^ if you'll going bankrupt buying a GPU then you might want to reassess your priorities when those GPUs probably won't even make $1/day after electricity.

Buying GPUs for mining at this point will never ROI.

Thats nonsense unless you live in a high cost of power area. Which high cost of power areas have never been a smart place to mine.
