GTA 4 CPU Scaling

I need to know if is worth upgrade q9300 to q9550, only for more frames in gta 4, the [H] reviews only test qx9650 vs i7 920 and such, but no the q9400 or q9300 so no clear answers, how much gain in frames could i expect? is marginal or like night and day

Very marginal performance increase (dependent on how high you can get Q9550 with your G31 board)

Good point lol why do such a marginal upgrade when getting a new video card would be wayyyy better. If that's up to date that is.

you won't see much difference with a new cpu, video card is a better investment

tru, im about to trade my 260 for a 4890 get an XFX !!
