Were the glitches and half the peds having mannequin models not enough of a tip off haha
That's why we can't have nice leaks. Because some will instantly take it to the bank.

Chick with tight pants robs a Burger Joint no thanks this game rots peoples minds. I uninstalled GTA5 cause of the antisocial trash.

Lol what? That's the entire game.

He's not wrong really, but neither are you. GTA's can end up kind of like saints row berserk murder sprees but just enough less wackiness and with enough realistic looking environments and modern human looking npcs for some people to take it a little too seriously (on either side of the equation).

That said it's a game as much as if you were able to play the evil bandits in road warrior or borderlands or something to madness, going on murder sprees butchering innocents. GTA V is not necessarily always a columbine/postal/mass shooter sim but in some ways it sort-of can be. That's pretty hard to dispute. And so I get why some people wouldn't be into it. I liked GTA V's engine and especially the driving and flying but I especially didn't enjoy playing the worst scumbag trevor and those plotlines/activities and in game cutscenes. Emulating-in-game/living vicariously through trashy p.o.s. psychos in game can be a turn off to some people. There are plenty of f'd up movies that people can watch too though (slasher/torture/captured insane stuff, as well as mob movies with brutality and torture, etc. ). A lot of people eat that stuff up. I'm not into watching the slasher/torture genre at all, and I'm kind of tired of the gratuitous mobster murder&mayhem mythology/worship of street rats into adult gangs thing for the most part. However I did like things like "sin city" which while silly was still pretty brutal (in a very comicbook style environment) - but I wouldn't put it on repeat throughout the week or months like a game. Even goblins, orcs, trolls and demons and things in fantasy genres can be exceedingly wicked, but then for me I am playing the protagonist not the monster murdering, raping, and pillaging the countryside. Still the protagonist in fantasy genres (like conan books and movies for example), is regularly eviscerating, decapitating, amputating limbs, bashing the heads in, stabbing eyes, etc. of people or monsters graphically in scenes so it's still lots of visible brutality. The main characters in GTA could be considered monstrous, psycho killer deviant scumbags though and they are pretty much your avatars essentially. And what really makes it stand apart from many other genres is that GTA is staged in simulated environments based on today's real world.

I can understand if someone gets enraged or disgusted when seeing a web video of some sleazy criminal caught abusing and even murdering people IRL - and it makes sense that seeing similar behaviors emulated with avatars in GTA "for the lolz" might give some people the same or similar feelings of disgust. To each their own though assuming they are adults. If I don't like something, I just "turn the channel", or uninstall it like he did.

.......

The leak thing is interesting in it's own right though.

The same garbage was said about rock and roll, TV, games, pornography and everything else for decades. As long as you can tell fiction from reality and aren't done obsessed whack job, games like GTA V are fine.

The one thing I def took notice of from the robbery footage was the SHEER NUMBER of random objects on each table.

No wonder this isn't expected to launch till 2024....

Rockstar isn't known to rush anything out the door. Especially with the repeated re-releases of GTA5 continuing to bring in revenue. I bet we don't see the game for at least another year, maybe two. I'll just hope that it isn't a console exclusive for any length of time like GTA5 and RDR2 were. I'm way happier playing console exclusives on the PS5, but I Rockstar's PC titles are mostly home runs.

It's too early to tell but I think this might go the way of the new Saints Row game. Gamers already and rightfully feel the usual agenda being shoved down their throat and I'm seeing more and more people check out with the direction this game is going. If the game was extremely good, that might bring people over the fence, but if the only thing GTA 6 offers over GTA 5 is the amplified "message", then I can imagine many gamers checking out of this.

But it's okay for Rockstar. In the same way it's convenient for the USA to replace their native citizens with international ones in pursuit of corporate interest, Rockstar is going to replace their original fanbase with an international one. In other words, say good bye to the the satire that made GTA particularly relevant and noteworthy. GTA 5 was already an incredible dip down from GTA 4 in the satire department. GTA 6's satire will likely be making fun of white rural Americans exclusively, because the culture at these companies is "White man bad".

The fuck you are going on about?

The fact that there was an article stating that the devs are making the game for "modern sensibilities," just like Saints Row.
Pretty much what I expect from any mainstream media now; no jokes about the protected minority classes and almost exclusively parody white people from different areas. The only racism or bigotry you'll see in the game will likely only be from white people as well. Hope I'm wrong, but that's basically all I see in current games and media now. If Rockstar dares to inject equal opportunity into their jokes and stereotypes (like they have mostly done in the past GTAs), then they will likely face the Twitter mob and be forced to apologize for offending someone and patching the offense(es) out of the game.

Anyways, I haven't seen much of the leaks, but to judge the game from any leaks this early in development seems pretty stupid. Obviously my above statement isn't based on leaks and are only general statements based on the current culture. I'm actually just now playing through GTA 5 for the first time and am enjoying it so far, so if they can match or improve on its characters and gameplay, all the best to them.

GTA gameplay has been dull for years

Peaked with SA

4 was cool to see local landmarks in NY all over (not just big known ones - but like the Sunnyside Arch) but that's about it

5 could be cool for you if from Cali for the same as above, but it was just boring and repetitive

I'll get 6 when it's on sale for $5 just to add it to the Steam shelf and to see how well they recreate Florida

Rockstar is censoring recent re-releases of GTA5. I full expect the humor to be removed from GTA6. Essentially another Saints Row 2022.

Remove the humor and GTA4 is a outright bad game. Remove the humor from GTA5 and the game is okay but still not that great. The shooting and mission design in GTA5 were bad.

I tend to agree that the soap opera comedy and madness aspect was a big part (though I didn't really care for a lot of it in gtaV as compared to IV). GTAs in a way like the plot is a huge part of witcher 3 but the gameplay is actually a like janky. However for a lot of people it is fast and furious driving and general mayhem in the game as much or moreso than the plot lines and dialogue. That and the fact that the game simulates modern day real world or real world looking locations, vehicle designs, pcs and npcs pretty decently for a large game world.

As for as some of the gameplay issues - at least you could get mods to make some of the facets better. At least on pc. The driving mods, more realistic gun behavior mods, ragdoll physics and localized damage (even down to limping npcs when wounded) mods, realistic blood, realistic npc/crowd behavior mods, police, etc. were essential for me. There were some others I can't even remember atm. The bad handling of the vehicles in general, motorcycle handling on road and especially sports car offroad phsyics ridiculousness had to go immediately from my playthrough with some vehicle behavior mods. I don't know if I would have kept playing all the way through without the improvements the mods made to the gameplay physics.

Mods are a huge benefit of pc gaming especially with some of the more mod-able games, and one of the reasons why I'd rather just wait for pc releases.

Busted but his mission didn't fail at getting and releasing some of the data I guess. He may have acted as a front man for others in the group (aka fall guy when things goes south?). 🤷‍♂️

. . .
As indicated by this source and others:

https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2022/09/20/gta-6-hack-fbi-lapsus/
It looks like the recent GTA 6 hack wasn’t the work of a lone wolf who managed to break into an employee’s workstation, as previously assumed. The high-profile breach in which GTA 5 and GTA 6 source codes were stolen was apparently the work of a hacking group called Lapsus$, which the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice have already been pursuing. As recently as March 2022, at least seven members of the group were arrested in the UK after they targeted a number of major companies like Microsoft, Samsung, and Nvidia.

When is gta 6 coming out? I tried gta 5 a bit and it just didn't work, I wasn't attracted to it.
I'm afraid that 6 will be the same because they have nothing new to invent.
The only positive thing is that they have a finished engine from Red Dead Redemption 2.The game should run well and be free of major bugs.

Not for quite awhile, probably. Design started in earnest around 2017-2018 and development started in 2020. Due to mainstream media pressure on crunch, Rockstar said they are taking a more relaxed approach to producing the game. I wouldn't expect it until 2025, at the earliest. For comparison's sake, it took them 8 years to make Red Dead Redemption 2 from design to release.

So how? Practically the entire game was leaked...
Rdr2 is also based on gta 5, it's all close....
Considering the big hype it turns out to be released this year...

I've enjoyed the hell out of all the GTA games I've played. I'm on board for more any day. I just hope the single player experience is still solid. I don't want the core game to suffer because all their efforts go toward GTA Online 2.

Im probably going to be wrong...but hear me out:

I wouldnt be surprised this is either a day 1 shadow drop or a short time window to release. GTA is one of those games that it markets itself at this point...they do not need to drag out the hype anymore then it is. With some of the recent releases and big flops in the past years, they will probably do themselves a disservice if the release date is a whiles away. To some extent....its not going to live up to the hype anyway...if that hype drags on for another year plus, then it will only get review bombed more.

But then again Rockstars announcement to release history says otherwise.
