What settings do you have on?

What nvidia driver version?

I'm getting ghosting/texture flicking on the damaged parts of my cars if I crash into obstacles. I have a similar setup to yours and it's really bugging me. Don't know if it's the early July patch or the fact I'm running near max of my 12000mb VRAM wall.
 
I have latest drivers. Is there an easy way to dump all my config and video settings so I can paste it here?
 
Run the in game benchmark and copy the file dump. somewhere in.. x:/users/user/documents/rockstargames/gta5/benchmarks

BTW, we have similar hardware, but I'm not SLI'ing. I don't have the flicker problem, maybe it's an SLI thing.
 
I've just started playing this game again now. And I've noticed that I get much higher FPS during nighttime compared to day. Is that normal? I thought it should be the opposite with all the shadows and lighting going on. BTW the game looks absolutely stunning, even though I already played it some at release it still shocked me how good it looks.

All depends on the weather and map placement

At night I constantly get smooth fps, at day there is much more stuttering and slowdowns. It can be an accident sometimes but not all the time. Weather doesn't same to have a noticeable effect. But the day/night cycle does.

I'm running it fine with an i5-2400 and a 760. At 1080p I can turn most things up to either Normal or High.

Its the global lighting, haze, etc.
Clear skies at night, less global lighting=higher perf.

It might be good enough for you, but the game is running much much worse than day 1.

I run most everything on normal with high textures AND it looks/runs tons better than when I had it on my 360.

I have 200+ hours in GTAO (lvl 140something) and I have never come across anything that deals with strength. Not sure if its useless, but you certainly don't build it up like everything else from normal play. (And lung capacity, cause you never need to swim underwater in missions)
 
You take less fall damage and climb ladders faster with higher strength. It can be useful at times and isn't that hard to level up. There's a video somewhere, basically you just go into creator and create a TDM on the golf course with the jerry can as forced weapon and use the "Test" function. Then you just run around killing the NPCs by punching them.
 
Funny that you say that, cause I always thought it was odd that strength didn't increase from just climbing ladders. Like stealth does from just walking while crouching.

Now the punching thing... I hadn't thought about that, but you have guns. Lots of guns. Really cool ones, that I use all the time... I wonder how many people I need to punch to make that stat go up...

Honestly I never punch people in game, I just did that to level it up. Even then I could only do it for a maximum of like 15-20 minutes before I got bored and did something else. I hate how you have to grind certain skills.

Exactly! Why would you? I mean, they gave us a minigun.
I'd rather sticky bomb a person than punch them. Just like you said, that's boring and a silly grind. They never force you to do it in the game anyway.
They should have tied it to climbing, stuff and ladders.
 
The only time it's really useful is for the pacific standard heist if you are carrying the money and have to jump down when running from the cops through the alleys. I really wish they had made some of the stats more useful. The only ones you really need are Driving, Shooting and Flying. Maybe Stamina as well, but that's not even completely useful in most cases.
 
s.o.b. I haven't really played this game in a while, since the last patch fixed my stutter on shoot problem, i decided to dive in again. Anyways, I get this: https://iyt2pw.dm2301.livefilestore...lk37lshboh2hK1A/gta-v-spawn-glitch.jpg?psid=1 (spawn under the city). Is there any way to fix it? I looked up GTA V cheat codes, didn't see a no clip command. Tried reloading save, saving and reloading, restarting game, etc. I only have one other save, and would avoid doing old missions again if I could.

Basically you just set it up to go from hole 6 to hole 6. You hit it in the hole and then I think you have to walk into the blue area again around the golf course. There's no actual quick replay AFAIK.

I'm getting this today too. Didn't happen yesterday. It comes and goes
 
Oh forgot to mention, today (for like 6-8 hours now I think, if even) adversary mode is double money. ~$9000 every minute if you quick restart. Attacker kills defender after 30 seconds, quick restart and it auto swaps teams. Pretty good way to make some quick money, although you need a friend and it'll get quite boring.
 
From bullets? Nope. The Insurgent is way better when it comes to explosions though. From what I read, it has more HP than the tank.

My friends and I tested it one night. Thsee are what can kill it:

22 guided rockets from a buzzard
7 rpg hits
5 bricks of C4
Being stuck in the middle of a 8 car pile up
3 tank shells
15 seconds of continuous fire from the attack chopper

No need. I can't find a way to spend the money I have now. Yesterday I bought every clothes item in the game and I still have over 100 million to spare. I've just been sending merryweather assassins to kill randoms every few minutes since I can't think of anything else to spend it on.
 
I never played on consoles so I only have roughly 1 million after buying the Hydra and Insurgent. It's getting harder to make money since public lobbies seem to have gotten even worse. During the prison heist weekend I had no issues getting good games, but last week it took more time trying to find a game than actually playing.
 
GTA V works fine on Windows 10 here. I would suggest verifying game cache, it fixed my issues with Rome Total War 2. There seem to be a couple of programs/files that the upgrade may have screwed up.

Already tried not working, Im on latest AMD Drivers and W10 64 Pro. Steam Forums also has lots of posts not working on Windows 10. Everything was working perfectly fine on my W7 64 Install.

It seems people with Windows 7 are having a lot more issues. I upgraded from 8.1 so maybe that's why it hasn't been a real issue. Best thing to do is either roll back or do a clean install, the former being more convenient. Or you could try redownloading/installing the game.

I did the regular upgrade for Windows 10, followed shorty by a full format/clean install from USB Drive. I dunno what else to try, I really dont feel like redownloading 60+gb for GTAV
