Well I finally picked up a copy of this game yesterday!

Now I'm waiting delivery for my new MSI 390x.

Can't wait to play this, with all the hype and stuff.

The game's a blast...well, at least the single-player, which was my focus. While shorter than previous games, it's a lot less tedious at the same time.

If you guys need some starting cash, or want to do some heists, just PM me and we can exchange R* social info. I wouldn't mind helping [H] members

I upgraded to a 780 lightning from a 660ti, but since I'm also upgrading my mobo/cpu I'm stuck using a Celeron... All 14 of my fps look beautiful though

Lol, well maybe not you. But other people, new ones, probably need a mil or so to get things going

Meh just go on public servers. I've encountered 4 people with miniguns shooting money bags. I am currently sitting on little over 15mil cash :/ It ruins the experience for me unfortunately so I really don't bother playing online anymore. The game could've been so much better without the rampant hacking.

yeah heists there is always some jackass who either quits in the middle of a heist or someone dies usually..i lost count how many games today and yesterday that happend.. its like ufeel cursed u end up with the worst kind of people, dont nobody want to earn money and lvl up ? i dont get it if u are that bad why bother join heists and destroy for us that want to win i get so fed up with this game sometimes....

Wrong. I played a heist last night and no one quit........... Don't speak for others when you don't know the facts.

Or maybe it always happens to him and he's understandably frustrated...it's pretty well known that this crap happens so he's not necessarily "wrong" because you had one good game.

There are good games and bad games; just depends on you luck regarding who you get matched with unless you're playing with friends.

"It worked for me, IT MUST WORK FOR ALL!"

I tried to play heists for almost 3-4 hours about a week ago and every time someone either died, didn't know wtf they were doing, left or just trolled around. There was 1 group with which I was able to finish a couple heists, but public games are pretty terrible in general.

Luck of the draw. I've experienced great games where people communicated through either mic or chat. They would join the invite for the heist right away if I send and vice versa.
Then you get the clowns described above. No armor, lvl 1 with no mic leave after one or two attempts etc.
The script kiddies are the guys you have to watch out for. Although I've had a decent streak of modders who only spawn what you'd like them or money and guns. I'll rather have that kind of player in the server than some punk.
I'll gotten gains part 2 comes out on the 8th.

This game was awesome for a couple weeks until the hacking got out of control. Now Rockstar is gonna release a new update with all these bullshit vehicles that don't matter whatsoever if you have a Karuma.

If Rockstar got their shit together and found a way to permaban all these hackers/modders, then proceeded to wipe the economy, I might consider playing this regularly again.

Oh well, was fun while it lasted.

I'm curious, how do the hackers even affect you? Since you don't seem to think any cars are worth it, the economy shouldn't matter.

I'm amused by the hackers in game usually, until they start playing God and go invincible. I have seen some crazy shit in GTA, like the one time I went to my garage and there was a bunch of dead sharks everywhere. I find it funny for the most part, but I do frown upon hacking in any form.

Hackers are a major issue unless you just make private lobbies and stick with your friends. I mean OK I love doing that but just roaming around the map doing random stuff is a huge part of GTA (if not the most important part?) and it's a shame that the hackers are ruining that.

Hahahaha, wow.

I'm gonna break down and get this game one of these days.

Me? PC version no, but when first purchased I never had problems, until just recently. No biggy to me, as they actually do missions, and surprisingly don't act like 2 year olds. :p

Did most of you finish the campaign before playing GTA online?

Yeah, I beat it a total of 3 times. Twice on PS3 and once on PC. I mainly did it just to get the $2 billion on each character and be able to mod cars without having to waste money in online. There are also some glitches every now and then that require single player stuff.

One thing that is kind of annoying is that a lot of the heist challenges are account wide, but when you beat a heist on one character you can't buy the vehicles on another.

Or the time we had a random guy pole dancing on an invisible pole in the middle of my apartment

Is there a way to arrange your ships in port? I would like to put all my cruisers and bb next to one another in ascending order of br.

Soo I'm guessing people will have updated trainers within the same day of the update, and nothing will change from an anti-cheating standpoint?

I'm finally getting into this game.. let me tell you, it really makes me want to drive my real car differently.. So far just playing story mode @ 5760x1080 and my 970s are hitting about 3400mb of mem use max - IQ settings are for the most part very high... performance is very good. They did a nice job on this one. It's a lot of fun and looks pretty amazing!

Well the new T20 (super car) and Coquette (muscle car) seem to have been a nice surprise for everyone, but the Brawler is turning out to be a huge disappointment. I do like some of the new additions like the Trench Coats and the fact you can now wear scarfs over more outfits. The knuckle duster and the new pistol are neat (looks cool), but meh.

why is the brawler dissapointment ? iasked in chat ingame everyone said its cool... the t20 car is just nonsense what the fuck makes it cost over 2 mil ? i dont giet it just earn 2 mil from heists would take me a week playing nonstop.. heists is a joke how low money they give considering how hard it is to complete random heists with people u dont know....

Quite the opposite for me. The T20 is (just like the other supercar they added in the first DLC part) still worse than the Zentorno. A little better brakes but bad traction, after driving around with it for 2 hours i'm back to Zentorno. The Coil Brawler is fun to climb mountains with I think it was a good addition I have a lot fun driving it.

Too bad the random stuttering in online sessions got even worse with this patch. And yeah, for money I wouldn't do heists either, just spamming normal missions is faster. Or ask a modder to shoot money at you, R* doesn't seem to give a shit.

Brawler looks cool, but performance is average to below average with bad handling and brakes, even at slow speeds. The T20 on the other hand has great handling and acceleration (better then Osiris) making it great on the track and with the discount (or discounts if you never used your original LM coupon) is a real bargain.

EDIT: Performance maybe very disappointing, but it doesn't mean its not fun to take out for a spin. FYI, my Armored Karuma is better off-road then the Brawler.
