Fellow members of [H]ard|OCP,
I have finally devised an INI configuration for Gothic 3 that vastly improves the performance of the game rendering it playable where it was practically unplayable before.
I used to get very low framerates on Gothic 3 ranging from 10 - 20 FPS. With this new .INI that I have written, the framerates range from 30s to upper 60s while maintaining the same visual quality as before.
If you do not believe my claims, try the INI for yourself, while making a backup copy of the original.
(Note: By default, the INI expects you to have at least 2 GB of RAM. If you have a different value, your mileage may vary.)
