Finally got the September update a week after it was out on my 2 XL. It's annoying that T-Mobile is seeming holding back OTAs like this, as it seems everyone else except for Fi users are getting the updates almost immediately after they post the first Monday of the month. It's not like that every month though, it seems like every 2 months it takes them a week or two to push the OTA and yet everyone says that the carriers can't control Google's updates anymore.
Of course since I haven't seen any publicity on it other than that thread I posted, the Face unlock is still completely broken in the new update as well. I'll delete my face and make a new one and relearn it, but after a few unlocks, it doesn't even attempt to look for my face anymore and just prompts for fingerprint unlock only.
