I did and didn't immediately put two and two together. I came at it from a different angle and realized that i was off base and removed that bit to not look stupid.

Did a little bit of water cooling myself this weekend! Got the son involved and I think I "wet" his appetite. Escpecially since there are two full XSPC water cooling setups on my test bench...."going to waste."

One of these days I'll get around to doing a custom loop in my PC again.

I think I have one, maybe two more watercooling rigs left in me. It's great to do. I love the customization, but time isn't my friend here and I need to build a one/two one and done systems that will last me a few years. I know, I know, upgrade pathways are always changing, but I'm not seeing a big hit on the latest hardware/graphics right now and the foresable future.

I used hardline (copper) between pump, res and radiator and then soft line to the actual blocks. Put quick disconnects on at the blocks and it becomes really easy to still swap out hardware without having to redo the loop for every change. I think this setup is probably 7 or 8 years old now.

I've gone this route before. I like it. Takes a little extra planning/layout for what needs to get swapped out and moving stuff out of the way. It's going to be a bit before I get the wild hair up my butt to build one or two more 'ultimate' setups, but it will happen in about another year or two. I'm an intel/nvidia combo dude and have been for a long time and I may go AMD on one build and intel/Nvidia on another. I've got the time to decide, but I'll still be coming back here to for tips/tricks/advice and just to keep my finger on the pulse.

Did multiple WCing rigs in the single core XP days. Stopped when I went dual and quad cores, don't know if I'll ever do another one.

If it makes you feel any better, my office attire is jeans, untucked collared shirt, and loafers. Picture makes me look much more respectable from the chest up. :)

Did you have to move to California?

I will have to relocate eventually. CA, OR, or AZ as it stands currently. Sitting on a plane heading to Santa Clara now.

    I'd choose Oregon or Arizona.
Oregon because it's the PNW and it's gorgeous.
    Arizona because it's not California.

At least AZ has lax gun laws. Never checked on OR.

It's certainly better than in California. (y)

Kyle, parts of Arizona can be quite habitable for most of the year. My wife and I moved to Yuma to be with her mother because of her mom's medical issues and it's tolerable for four months of the year and at the doorstep of hell for the other eight...

AZ will be closer to TX overall, and Oregon outside of Portland isn't that far off either. You don't want to do CA in any form.

Well how about you man up and contribute some news yourself? If everyone pitches in it would be as if nothing has changed in the number of news.

All of the Intel offices in Oregon are in the suburbs of Portland, though. Too close for comfort for me. I'd definitely be shooting for AZ.

Yeah, that would give me pause. At least with OR it doesn't take long to get out of town.

That would be great except most people are probably like me and got all of their news from here. Its hard to contribute when you don't know where to look to get the news in the first place.

I know it’s futile to hit my link to HardOCP but I still do out of habit. Over 15 years of hitting that link is a hard habit to break.
