I got a buddy of mine who does realestate and is looking for a good laptop for under 2k. Something dependable with plenty of power. I dont think playing games is much of a concern for him. Needs a large HD, plenty of memory 1ghz , CD burner/DVD reader, bluetooth, and wireless.

What kind of work does he intend to do on it?

I think he meant he didnt want to have to upgrade anytime soon. As far as what kind of work I have no idea. He has his own software he uses and im not sure how tasking it is.
