So I just scored an amazing deal on some Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers ($200!) and they are an amazing upgrade from the promedia 2.1's I had. Absolutely great quality.

Anyway, the original wires that came with them are pretty wimpy looking and definately too short for me to cable manage properly. I have to run the sub "remotely" because it is fucking massive and wont fit anywhere near my desk.

So, im looking for some good budget speaker wire. What should I look for? I like the way this looks (and yes, looks matter to me) but it is expensive. I estimate I will need at least 50ft of it. Anyone know of any cheap all silver wire?

Should I just get something cheaper like this:

Also, I need 3 decent quality long 3.5mm interconnects to go from my Xonar D2X to the sub. Does the quality make a difference? 20ft should be fine:

Thanks in advance. Very psyched to get these hooked up! No idea what to do with the rear speakers though

Agreed. Copper is copper. Don't let the crazies tell you different. The electrons will get where they're going just fine.

Go to HD and get some clear std. lamp cord. Will work perfect, and is a great value.

Thanks a ton guys, I figured they wouldn't make a difference :p

Anyway, I wanted to get these speaker stands but I am afraid of having to rig up brackets to mount them. What floor stands work with these speakers?
I see the Klipsch wall mount ones but they wont work for me :(
