Well, seems like my 4th one is broken :(. I used to chew on cables, but stopped at number 4 :D. But this shitface decided to just die . My last two were the overear logitech ones, worked pretty well. Took some getting used to, but was fine right after. The volume control on this one seems to be jacked, that is what is causing issues.

Anyway, looking for something new, preferably not the same 1 I have. I really am not in a position right now to spend $60 on one, something cheaper ;).

I have Creative Fatal1ty Pros. Not bad at all, comfortable, mic works well over Teamspeak and sound quality is pretty decent for the money. Not quite as comfy or good sounding as my Sennheiser HD515 headphones but close.

The Plantronics Gamecon 367 are also decent, but for me the headphone cable is on the short side and wouldn't reach the back of my PC from where I sit.

the Steelseries 3H are nice. I don't know how well the mic works but the sounds isnt too bad

Well I can tell you what to stay away from at least.

I've been highly dissatisfied with the Astro A40 headset (http://astrogaming.com/products/detail/3/A40-Audio-System/) Packaging was excellent and the mike is clear but the audio quality is just terrible. I get feedback if the cord jiggles due to the shitty connectors. The included amp is mostly useless, I get better results with my RSE Tomahawk amp.

No idea how much it is going to cost (maybe over your budget - likely over your budget..), but I've been hearing good things about the Logitech G35 - it is a USB headset, though. I personally like the USB models better, as I can pipe my game audio/music through my speakers, and just leave my headset for communication.

Also, may I recommend a pair of Sennheiser PC156? -http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Pc156-Usb-Over-Binaural-Headset/dp/B000H0ODME

I'm actually selling a pair of them myself - great audio quality, and they'd be under your budget. PM me for details. (They are USB AND 3.5mm jack, so you can decide which you want to use ))

Thanks for all of the advices!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826265064 $39.99 looks interesting. I believe I bought something which looked similar at Best Buy as replacement 3, but the sound quality was a letdown :(.

Another possibility is the Razer Carcharias, a bit pricey but it was worth it imo. Amazing sound quality and i barely can feel them when i'm wearing them, plus it has the long braided cord we've all come to love. The mic is also high quality and has no problem picking up my voice for Vent/TS.

Those do look pretty sick, but are sort of expensive. Alot to think about, hmm.
