good application to capture flash and other streaming video?

    Can anyone recommend something that works well for this? The programs I've tried in the past always left a lot to be desired.

    What you linked pertains more to progressive downloads (YouTube, Google video, etc), as opposed to actual streaming video.

    However, most of the time you can find the source file in your browser's cache. For me, though, CheatEngine is the only thing I need to find the URL for the source. :D

    Bitcomet video downloader. Came pre-installed with Cometbird but it is just a plugin so should be on the add-ons site for Firefox. It can capture video files, audio files and flash files.
