I have myself a pickle here. I've been using masterkleer clear 7/16" ID 5/8 OD" tubing, friction fit over DD fatboy 1/2" barbs for years now and I want to rebuild.
Problem is that nobody carries this tubing in clear anymore. I want to use this tubing as its worked fantastically without clamps, and still has not clouded or dumped plasticizer in my loop. I'm super wary of using coloured tubing from the same brand though, because I wont be able to see if the tubing is going bad with as much ease.
For the record, I haven't swapped this tubing out since 2014. Still clear, still no gunk, only a silver plug and distilled water in the loop.
So my question is, is there any 7/16 ID tubing that exists today that's as good as masterkleer?
