I would think so. A 1070 is recommended for 60 FPS at 1920x1080 and high settings.I assume this should run reasonably well on my 1080ti at 3440x1440?

14th this Friday not sure if I want this game.
No it the first in a new series. This is something like 150 years after 3.There are quite a few of them and I dont follow. Is this the first one of the seeies? I somewhat remember the serpent but am not so sure.
Yeah they had to patch that game for months and months and months. But at least they cared enough to fix every issue.I wonder if performance/bugs will be similar to Horizon Zero Dawn PC when it was first released...
This is Sony's biggest exclusive. I would hope they get it right.I wonder if performance/bugs will be similar to Horizon Zero Dawn PC when it was first released...
For you and you only, it will stutter.Yeah they had to patch that game for months and months and months. But at least they cared enough to fix every issue.
Eh, I'm pretty sure most of the "issues" were sorted in the first couple of patches. After that its been refinements and also adding features. Like DLSS.Yeah they had to patch that game for months and months and months. But at least they cared enough to fix every issue.
That is simply not true as it took numerous patches to fix the actual issues. Some of the patches were to fix issues that previous patches broke so it was quite a few before it ran like it should.Eh, I'm pretty sure most of the "issues" were sorted in the first couple of patches. I own the PS5 upgraded version (and I didn't full-on love the game like some folks did), so I'll pass on this one.
what didn't you love about it?...combat?
I've never played a God of War game because I've never owned any Playstation so I'm heavily compelled to give this a shot.
It's not a reboot. It's a sequel that happens years after the conclusion of God of War III.Yeah, this title is a reboot. Even though it sort of generally keeps previous events as canon----none of it is crucial for this story. Its more along the lines of "hey, remember when this/that happened?" Rather than wow, that plot point/reveal was totally lost on me, because I didn't play a 13 year old game.
It might not be the GOAT to a lot of people but it sure deserves to be in the conversation.LOL, just reading this thread has inspired me to replay the game since I haven't touched it in a while. They added a NG+ option at some point apparently, so I'm going that route. I just made it to the portion of the game where things open up a lot (no spoilers, obviously) and my opinion stands. It's a great game, but I don't get the GOAT talk for people that play a lot of games.
Its a decent divergence from othee GoW games. The other games are kind of akin to an arcade beat em up like a very polished Golden Axe with more RPG elements.I've never played a God of War game because I've never owned any Playstation so I'm heavily compelled to give this a shot.

You may need to look into dying light 2 then, should take around 500 hours to fully complete.I love longer games and GoW sounds pretty long...~20 hours if just sticking to the main missions and ~50 hours to explore everything
