Folks,
Running a Gigabyte Z170X UD5 mobo. I have 4x 16GB of G.Skill ram in it.
64GB seemed like a good idea...because. Yeah, yeah.
Now, after several months, I'm wondering if I have some instability due to voltage issues to that big ol' bank o' memory.
In the UEFI bios (F5), there is a DDR4 voltage setting at 1.20v, but it cannot be modified. G.Skill lists 1.35v as max for my memory. I'd like to up the voltage, but I cannot figure out how to use the UEFI to allow me to do anything other than "Auto" for the memory voltage. I've tried a lot of settings, but nothing seems to work. It stays in "Auto" and taunts me with that 1.20v.
How do I enable manual ram voltage control?
Thanks,
Ken
