This looks like a great board! Hopefully Ewiz will have it for $220 or so.

Any thoughts on how this compares to the P5B?

is it SLI ready?

no, not that I know of. From what I understand 965 doesn't support crossfire or SLI due to a different speed in one of the PCI-E slots... some one please correct me if I am wrong because I have been on the other side of the fence for awhile now! :)

its COULD be a sick board.. but it still has a long way to go.
For now it seems to do a lot of suckage.
When it can push ddr2 at a nice level, then it will rock...
but to spend 220 on this board now seems like a waist.
the ABit board performas better....

this board HAS TO break 400 MHz or its pooty!

Screw those prices. I'm not buying anything until the chip's on sale and those mobos are available at more than 2-3 places.

I'm confused about p965. I keep hearing that it doesn't support xfire but so many of the boards have 2 x16 pci-e slots. What's the point of having 2 x16 pci-e slots if not for xfire or sli?

I think officially it is 1 PCI-E x16 and one PCI-E x4. That being said, it doesnt mean it couldnt be run. I think its a driver thing, either hacked or backed.
