I'm getting my OCZ Vertex 2 120GB in the mail today and I also have 2x Western Digital Black 640GB drives currently setup in RAID0 mode. I was wondering if I could have the OCZ Vertex 2 in AHCI mode (non-RAID) and have the 2x Western Digital Blacks in RAID mode co-existing on the same system (AMD SB710)? If I can't do this then is it even possible on higher end motherboards like the Asus Crosshair IV Forumula or the Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5?

Thanks!

as far as i know you can.. never heard of that being a problem.. if anything check and see if 1 or 2 of the sata ports are running on a 3rd party chip instead of the sb710 chip and plus the vertex into one of those ports but i doubt its going to matter..
