GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 for 399 in stock

Orange is the new black.

Does seem kind of long, at 11.22 inches, if the NewEgg specs are correct. Can't tell if it has a backplate. For $400, I want a backplate.

I believe one of the photos of the card on Newegg's site shows a backplate.

But really, that is one butt ugly card, glad I got the G1 version.
 
What happened to Gigabytes design team for this card? At least the G1 still looks good.
 
I have the G1, still an ugly card in my opinion. I don't care what it looks like though since I don't have a case window and I don't particularly care about GPU aethsethics.
 
Bought one. my case is in a compartment in desk (still gets plenty of airflow) so i never see it, plus 400 was way lower than i anticipated to buy.

their oc mode is 3 fans and 1880 oc. ( if I remember correctly....heck I am probably wrong with that number LOL)
 
i agree with you guys it is ugly and, it wont fit in my micro-atx case. too tall.
 
I'm not quite sure where we're headed.

In previous generations, we had hotter, hungrier cards with smaller coolers and no one batted an eyelash at 15-20c higher than the temps that make us hysterical now. The FATNESS of some of these designs really bugs me.
