im looking to pick up this board in the near future, but i have some questions/concerns

I see on Gigabyte's website it says that the Q6600 is supported by the F4 bios or later

will I be able install a Q6600 and then flash the bios or will it simply not regonize the CPU and not boot, or maybe a similar Unknown AMD Processor kinda thing until I update the bios

mine came with f4 when i bought it so you should be good to go

it wouldnt boot a pentium d 805 for my friend so we threw my e6400 and flashed it to newest bios and it works now

I purchased mine a couple months ago and it came with f4 on it also.

oh, thats even better just wanted to clear that up instead having to end up buying two processors
