Not really. 3090ti is %22 faster on averageAn extra 20 fps for chreee or foe hundo? Nah shunnn. I'll pass!
1440p it's 14% higher. 14% of 150 fps is 21fps. Unless I'm wrong.Not really. 3090ti is %22 faster on average
3080 10G at 150fps would see a 3090ti at 33 fps faster. So over 50% higher the the 20fps you assumed.
Of course the is a 1080/1440/4K average and depending on settings and game the 3080 10G could start to hit its head on the lowly ram limit.
Well to be exact that would be 16% faster for the 3090 TI over the 3080. Some people get confused when they try to look at the graphs there and when they see a GPU at 50% and another at 100%, they think it's just 50% faster when in reality that is 100% faster as it's twice the performance. Essentially you just take the GPU that's at 100% and divided by what other GPU you're comparing in this case would be 86% and that comes out to be a hair over 16%.
Pay more attention to your own link as that is for 4k and we are talking about 1440p. And good grief it is pretty simple to extrapolate in any direction.Anyone click on my link? Stop making the 3090ti the baseline. Make the 3080 the baseline (eg, 100%) then you can see the % improvement. You don't start with your baseline at 86% then extrapolate up. WTF?
Relative performance 3080 100%. 3090ti 122%.
