OK here is my problem i need to get this encryption key from my software, although to protect it it is stared out, damn security! lol. Is there anyway of getting this key? That isn't from the router? Do programs store the data somewhere? i mean they must, but help...

Usually if something is starred-out in a dialog box for protection, it's going to be stored in an encrypted format.

Try asking the network administrator for the key...

Wasn't spyware or anything neither NOD32 or AVG reported it.

Unfortunatley it didn't read what i wanted, couldn't select the text itself, stupid smart program :x

If this is on windows xp using windows to configure your wireless device "cain and abel" will recover it last time I checked.

Sounds to me like it's not your own personal wireless because if it was it wouldn't be hard to put in the ip address/username/password of the router and get the key.

So as someone has said already talk to your network admin.
