Hi all -

Hopefully I can explain this clearly.

Our phone people wanted some server to be behind a router within our network. The server is an NT box and is 10.250.0.4. The router is at 10.3.1.164.

When they were on the 10.3.x.x network they would do:

Code:
route add 10.250.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 10.3.1.164 metric 1

on their workstations to be able to get to the NT box. Now most of the phone people have been moved to the 10.7.x.x network and that command does not work. Short of changing the IP of the router to 10.7.1.164, is there any way to access the 10.250.x.x network? I haven't had a chance to look at the router config yet. Perhaps VPN may work? Not sure...

I am currently on the 10.7.x.x network and cannot ping either IP addresses.

Any thoughts?
