New round of Geforce GTX 1050 Ti leaks:

- Reference card is ~21 cm and doesn't require an extra 6-pin power connector
- Custom cards will include 6-pin
- Specifications: GP107-400, 768 SPs, 64 TMUs, 32 ROPs, base frequency 1354 MHz, turbo frequency 1468 MHz, 128-bit 4 GB GDDR5
- Frequencies range from 1354 MHz all the way to 1797 MHz
- Launch between October 18-25th

That looks quite fast so far. Beating Tonga. 50-75% faster than RX 460. All at 75W.
 
I get 1828 on Firestrike Ultra with rig in sig.

*not that impressed
 
Some new info:

1050 Ti:
Single GPC with 768 SPs (unlike other Pascal GPUs)
Performs very well, might match Tonga at much lower TDPs
1050: 640 SPs
1040: 512 SPs, 16 ROPs, 64-bit - also based on GP107
1030 and 1020: GM107 instead of GP108 (latter could be mobile only)

Gotta ask...what Tonga are you referencing? In the FS Ultra and Timespy, the 1050ti is behind a 380 in both. According to what's posted here, it's not as fast as a cut-down Tonga, let alone a full Tonga.

He is talking about the 3dmark time spy score of the 1050ti (leaked)
 
The time spy where the 1050ti had a 2370 graphics score and the 380 had a 2485?
 
1050 (non Ti) is beating GTX 950 in AotS benchmark, close to GTX 960:

Color me very excited. That'd be wonderful! The 1050 is surely going to be a very low TDP card... perhaps as low as 50-55W like the non-Ti 750? would be very nice. A i5-6400T or 6500T and an 1050 would be enough for many older games in 1080p and it could be comfortably powered by a cheap 120W PicoPSU + external brick. 35W CPU, 55W GPU, 10W MB, 5W SSD. Perhaps it will create new, exciting mini PCs, the Gigabyte Gaming Brix is only using a 950, already looks dated :)
 
1050 / 1050 Ti unveiled!

So GTX 1050 (non Ti) does 65 FPS @ Gears of War 4 1080p Medium.

RX 460 Nitro OC does 52.8 FPS on average.
 
I was hoping for GTX970 performance.

Apparently its about as fast as a GTX960 which is not saying much...
 
There are 2 1060 versions ;)
completely forgot about the 3gb version...


BTW I tought Samsung was to blame for Polaris low clock speeds. But the 1050Ti clocks are faster and apparently can also hit pretty close to 2ghz.

Pascal clocks fast because it was engineered to do so. GloFlo got the blame for Polaris clocks because certain people couldn't believe that AMD was responsible for the colossal fuck-up at the power needed to clock Polaris somewhat competitively. (Yes, I have sour grapes because I couldn't get a Polaris-based card at the power and performance envelope I wanted.)
 
I have an autonotify on the EVGA SC GAMING version for three very straightforward reasons - it can DIRECTLY replace Fermi OR Kepler GTX (if not GT) at a lower TDP, it takes up no more room in my case, and the price makes WAY too much sense (as long as Amazon doesn't gouge on price).

Well its still TBD, but it sure looks like GF doesn't have much issues with their process. Once we see the reviews and overclocking of the 1050 we will definitely know.

63% faster in GTA5 is already RX 470 territory.

I love how AMD's low end Polaris segment is barely 3 months old and is already pretty much forced to get price cuts this early.
 
The 470 should be reasonably safe from the 1050ti. The 460...will have some problems. Okay, a lot of problems. Maybe not ET-landfill type problems, but problems.

Edit: Honestly, the 1050 may be the real winner here. If the Ti *needs* that 6 pin, even to just use its fans or stabilize a higher overclock, then the 460 is no longer its competition and it joins the ranks of all of the other 6-pin cards out there.

The 1050 is a solid improvement while still absolutely staying true to PCIe-power only.

That may be true if there are that many PSUs that don't support adding 6-pin or dual-Molex add-ons; the only market with that restriction is the prebuilt market. Even that restriction can be end-run by either the GPU or PSU replacement market (at the entry-level - or even midrange - GPU market, 6-pin to dual-Molex adapters are still de rigeur for just that reason - also, 500W and 600W PSUs routinely support such, and are not exactly expensive, even from name brands - such as Corsair or EVGA.

The 1050TI does not require a 6 pin.

For EVGA's line up, you can move all the way up to the SSC version and still don't need one (see image here). Only the FTW version requires one (see image here).

That is, in fact, why I'm looking hard @ the GTX1050Ti (despite it replacing a GPU that uses a 6-pin adapter) - that lower TDP is not a minus.
 
Looks like most of the cards on Newegg right now are over MSRP. One non-Ti and one Ti are MSRP, everything else is up to $30'ish over MSRP. Color me not shocked. o_O Also noticed some of the Ti cards indeed have a 6-pin connector on them. So be sure to check if you are trying to buy one w/o it.

But really RX470 ballpark performance at only 67W? Quick, where is the "only stupid gamers care about TDP" AMD defense brigade when we need them?

Quick - what's the TDP of the following GPUs - GTX550Ti, GTX650/Ti, and GTX750Ti?

I would wager that the TDP of any of these is greater than 67W - while the GTX750 (non-TI) is that low, that didn't apply to the TI version. That would make the GTX1050Ti the lowest TDP Ti-class part ever - never mind that we're talking about a 4GB part that can actually USE it all at that low TDP (where the GTX960 4GB has a higher TDP and higher price).
