Thanks for this - I wonder if some of the 3090 issues with the last game ready drivers have been resolved. Guess I'll find out later today when mine comes in!

Doesn't look like the elephant in the room (boost crashes on 3080/3090) is addressed...

(and neither is the G-Sync on Freesync monitor half the screen goes black issue that I see regularly).

[*]Multiple G-SYNC Compatible monitors were removed from the G-SYNC Compatible list in the driver. [3130059]

Removed? I wonder if there was an actual technical reason for this, or just another bitchy dispute between companies?

I read it is they fixed the fact some were removed accidentally, but I guess it could go either way.

Always wondered if I should even bother with driver updates on an older card, if I don't play the newest titles which always seem to be the ones that they address the most (CoD, SW, etc)

I think that improves stability is in virtually every release lol.

Arent there quasi-unsubstantiated rumors that new NVIDIA drivers purposefully cripple the performance of 2+ generations old NVIDIA cards?

I can't remember who it was (maybe Gamers Nexus) who recently said that they bench cards over multiple years and those rumors are bullshit.

My backup computer still uses 3x GTX680 in SLI. Those cards represent the oldest generation of cards that are still supported by the current driver, and they perform just as well now as they did years ago.

"NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 owners report fewer crashes after updating drivers" -- https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-...s-report-fewer-crashes-after-updating-drivers
I’ve seen several users on Reddit that were vocal about crashes before these drivers say that they are no longer experiencing them after updating. However, doesn’t seem to be completely cleared up as some are saying it didn’t fix the crashes on their end. But that could also be due to a different problem specific to their system configuration or card itself.

Early reports are showing little to no performance loss with the driver. However, I’m hoping a reviewer performs some controlled testing with the new driver with multiple 3080s in the same test system.

If not at least unnoticeable FPS drops what about reduced frame time performance then? Hmm 🤔?
