GeForce 256 Launched this Day in 1999

The Diamond Viper V770 was my first real move to build bleeding edge systems. I remember having my old cards sold as the newest one was being shipped. Honestly glad those days are over but good times.
 
The GeForce 256 32sdr was my first 3d accelerater. I wasn't computer savvy, just enough to launch duke3d and maybe get the sound working. But that GeForce along with an Athlon 650 I played everything from tribes 2 to battlefield 2142.
 
Nice trip down memory lane in this thread! I believe my first 3d accelerator was a Diamond Monster Fusion (Voodoo Banshee based). My first geforce card was a Leadtek Winfast Geforce 2 GTS. I remember both of them very fondly.
