GeCube x1950xtx -- any pro's or con's?

I'm looking to upgrade to an x1950xtx and happened to check newegg today since they're one of the sites accepting the $20 paypal rebate offer. The GeCube x1900xtx is $359 after rebate, then $339 after the paypal rebate. I've never heard too much of this brand however, so while the price is extremely good, is it worth it?

Edit: I'll be putting this on an ASUS A8N5X board replacing a 7800GT. Running an Antec Neo Power 480 psu, though may upgrade if needed. 2gb Corsair Valueram, and an x2 3800+ that will be upgraded to a 4800+ (939) eventually.

Is this a smart buy now that the 8800GTS is out? I don't think the jump is big enough, I'd wait til spring, when R600 and more 8 series Nvidia cards will drive prices way down.
 
I honestly think the GeCube will be fine if it isn't just rma it :)
 
I would get a 8800 GTS over this card. Overclocked it will beat two 1900's(1950's too) in Crossfire, much less a single card.
 
It looks like you're looking for a cheap high level card. You might want to hold off on upgrading until early next year. Its likely Nvidia will decrease the 8800 prices a fair amount sometime in January/Febuary(definately Febuary). There's also the eVGA option since they offer a step-up program meaning if you sign up for step up, you'll RMA your card and and receive credit(equal to the amount you paid for the original card) towards another eVGA card.
 
It's made by a company called GeCube, and I can't help but conjure images of Mac g4 cubes when I hear their name...I hated those things. Hehe, sorry for thread crapping...too much coffee! :D

1900xtx for $339 after the $20 paypal deal is pretty good, IMO. You may want to give consideration to the eVGA step up idea. Drop the $ now that you were planning to spend, then keep the receipt and get that price in credit towards a new card within 90days. It certainly takes a little less out of your wallet in the short term...think of it as a video card leasing option... :D
