I hope they don't just remake the same game again. TPS was a failure, IMO.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel wasn't a bad game. It just wasn't up to the same level of storytelling that we got with Borderlands 2. In some aspects, it felt like TPS main game felt like glorified DLC to BL2, and, in some ways, it was since it used the same engine. I did like the fact that the character interactions are customized based upon who you are playing, and sadly, the Claptrap DLC was even better than the main game.

Ah well, here's hoping for Borderland 3.... hopefully without Claptrap and Handsome Jack. Two great characters that have been overdone at this point.

They didn't make it, It was done by a 2K B-Team in Australia, now defunct.

And it wasn't a failure. It had its moments. The claptrap dlc was pretty cool.

Can't wait for BL3. Hopefully more BL1 than BL2 in terms of gore and gunplay.

I loved the cel shading, how well it ran and the humor esp weapons on the first one. But didn't play 2 for some reason

Oddly enough the first one I got but just could not get into it, ended up trading it in (my console peasant days). When the 2nd one came out I tried it and loved it. Not sure why, maybe what I find fun changed. Probably should try the first out again.

A playable Tina would be a hoot. Torgue too. Moxxi I dunno. I like Claptrap but yeah I don't know if we need another playable version of him.

And if anyone hasn't played BL2 yet, you need to stop what you're doing and get it. It's been under $10 with all the DLC many times.

BL2 is probably the only open world game I finished. Only possible through great writing and dialog. The fact that shit blows up real nice is a feature, not a core ingredient.

You probably didn't spend enough time with BL1. My initial impression of it was "wow, janky, low res cell shaded graphics and clunky UI" -- however it grew on me and I not only liked it more than BL2 but became one of my favorite games ever. The environments and music are great, more Fallout like desert wasteland than the Jetsons aesthetics of BL2.

There were a lot of things that regressed in BL2 -- they removed gore (blowing off heads and limbs), and instead of the guns having "weight" to them like in BL1, they were toy space guns that felt plastic and kinda all the same.

I hope BL3 recaptures some of what made BL1 great.

Aaaaand, a new trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't see Moxie, though. And Tiny Tina isn't so tiny any more.

I'm in. No release date tho... sighs

And did I see Rhys from Tales from the Borderlands? You know, 1 eye, 1 arm dude.

I watched the stream today. It was funny with the stutter issues but worth it. I skipped the Pre-Sequal but will definitely not miss this. The 4K update for BL2 sounds good as well but I was not clear on the update for BL1. Is that XBox and PS4 only?

PC version will be getting the update for free, even if you only own the vanilla BL1 and no DLC.
