Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone uses Gdesklets and can help me with this problem.
I can't get transparency to for my user with gdesklet desklets, but transparency works perfectly if I run gdesklets as root. I've reinstalled dependencies multiple times, gdesklets 0.26.2, everything, and nothing works.
I've asked on gnomesupport forums, searched linuxquestions.org, forums.gentoo.org, google, went on linux IRC channels, and no one knows how to solve this problem as to why root can get transparency, but user can not.
