So it was ~$148 cheaper at one point.

I see. I did notice they had sold out earlier--a day ago or so they were OOS anyway. I suppose they are still selling quickly at this price.
 
wow this would have been hawt. i wish ati had a comparable solution for laptops
 
I noticed the Tampa, FL Best Buy still had about 6 of these in stock they were trying to get rid of. They were marked down to $806 and had the full 1 yr warranty with them. I decided to pick up the 7811 on sale for $1250 since I plan on keeping it a while and will need the better processor and video.
