Gal Civ 2's new expansion pack

Anyone here checked out Twilight of the Arnor? If so, thoughts? Saw it had been recently released and I spent many hours on the original, so was considering picking it up.

I've played it. It's a much larger expansion than dark avatar. Each race has different technology trees, which adds lots more variety to the game.

Nice - will have to pick it up. That was one of my complaints with the original. Seemed like forever and a day were spent researching little increments to existing technologies (ie, Laser 1, Laser 2, Laser 3, Laser 4, Laser 5, Water-cooled laser 1...)
