G9x replacement...what do you game on.

My G9x is wearing out and I need to find a replacement candidate before it dies.
The weight drawer has been jammed from day one... and as it is still under warranty I will probably see if they have any spare g9x's around before this one passes out of warranty.

That said Logitech seems to have discontinued my favorite mouse ever...

Soo What do you use to game on... and for what type of gaming.

I am heavy into FPS and only need 1 or 2 thumb buttons.
I don't tend to use on the fly dpi switching...
I do like a heavy mouse though and the size of the g9x.

I am tempted to pick up the alienware clone (without weights)
tactx 9 ... I had been gifted one before I got the g9x and it is nearly identical.

I also have a G9x and love it. Luckily mine isn't showing any signs of quitting any time soon, but I'm interested to see what you find as a suitable replacement. Many of the Logitech mice around are just too large. I like the smaller grip on the G9x and haven't found another mouse with that same profile, along with the other features the mouse has. I do wish it was wireless as I hate wire clutter on my desk, but the pros far outweigh the missing wireless.

I can make you a terrible deal (for you) on one of my G9x's One isn't in use right now in favor of the G502. Completely different feel than the G9x.
