So we just ditched our XP Pro (32bit) + Filezilla setup and replaced it with Windows Server 2008 (64bit) IIS 7.5 FTP.
The main reason for change is to support high numbers of connections to SMB shares, but FTP was another service performed by that machine.
So everything looks good and FTP connections are being made. Using G4U however, after transferring 23MB of a compressed Windows XP image, the connection dies. I'll admit, this did happen intermittently on the Filezilla setup, but I didn't expect it on the Win Server 2008.
Any suggestions? I'm going to look for some logs but thought you might have some suggestions. I've never used FTP on Server 2008 before but I assume there should be logs somewhere.
