G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133MHZ

anyone managed to get the timings down? Seems like memory speed hasn't increased in a year or so

Great price, not a fan of C11 though, but great price.

At this speed the price is a good deal.

CL11 isn't the greatest but at 2133mhz it's still going to be much faster than CL9 PC3 10666 and should work out better for overall system over clocking.

Also this ram's rated speed is at 1.6v. The CL9 Gskill kits take 1.65v. So there is a little room for voltage adjustments to see if timings can come down a little.

Overall looks like a decent set of ram at the price point.

Other sets that are in this class at Newegg:

What's the warranty on this? Don't see it mentioned anywhere. Kind of thinking I want to buy it now and build the other parts when IB comes out.

Also might be worth noting it comes with a 4gb MicroSD card free

I got one of the 4gb MSD cards. Kinda flaky. It doesn't work in my daughter's Casio Camera, and isnt recognized in my Dell 2407 sd reader. Works in my HTC phone and also is read by my son's Asus Laptop, but it and miss in my wife's Compaq. BTW, I tried it with a different, known working adapter and same results. Just figured I'd toss that out there.
