Ok, so I have 2 gb of redline mushkin ram, and its rated at 500mhz, but my fsb speed is only at 400mhz. So each of the ram chips are running at 200mhz, where they should be running at 250mhz. How can I get my fsb up to 250mhz?

but right now, my multiplier is set to 13x on the fx-55 and my fsb is set to 200, which is equal to a clock speed of 2600. if I just changed it to 250, then my clock speed would go up hugely. My processor deffinately couldnt handle a 20% overclock. So what are my options? Lower the multiplier to something like 11? and then set the fsb to 250?

11x250 should work fine. You may or may not need to bump up your vcore. I doubt it with the FX55. Most can do 2.8ghz at stock vcore.

well, would it hurt any to bump it up? Also, I had to lower my HTT to 4x to get it stable. Does this sound about right? And how much would be a good increase in vcore?

Well if your stock vcore is 1.4, then I wouldn't venture past 1.55 on very good air cooling (XP120, Ninja Skythe (sp?)). You should read Eclipses overclocking guide at the top of the forms. It's an excellent guide for overclocking Athlon 64's/FX/X2's etc...

It won't hurt to raise it a bit (no more than 10% on air cooling), but stock is usually better. And the FX-55 should be able to anyway.

So like 104% from stock vcore? like 1.48 or 1.5 from 1.45?

1.55 would be the tops on air cooling that I'd venture with myself. Just make sure you check your temperatures and try to stay below 50 deg C under 100% load. That's a general rule.
